Splash Mountain at Disney World is about to go away. The ride is scheduled to close on January 23rd, 2023. From there, Splash Mountain will be transformed into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. A Princess and the Frog (2009) retheme. But if you’re looking to one last ride to relive the nostalgia of the classic water ride, you may wanna check your expectations. There’s been several reports of failures on the ride. One Tik Tok poster took the time to record the condition of the ride while her log was stuck in the outdoor section of the ride.

I get it, there’s no reason to spend a lot of time fixing up a ride that’s going to be closing in about 3 weeks. There’s actually a petition nearing 100,000 signatures asking Disney to keep Splash Mountain. However, it’s not going to happen. Splash Mountain is going away. Here’s another video from a month ago:
My last ride on Splash Mountain was about 6 years ago.
Of course I got soaked. It was a fun ride. I’ll miss it.
