SeaWorld Orlando Announces Opening Date Of New Pipeline Coaster
The wait is almost over! SeaWorld has announced the opening date for the new Pipeline coaster. Last fall, SeaWorld made the announcement and now starting on May 12 passholders will be able to ride this one-of-a-kind coaster for the first time. On May 27, the ride will open to everyone else.
Called Pipeline, this coaster looks like a surfboard and will mimic the feeling of riding on a wave. There are five airtime movements including a “wave curl”, simulating an “alley-oop”, a move that only the best surfers in the world can pull off. Pipeline features a 2,950 foot track with a launch of 110 feet and a max speed of 60 MPH.
