Florida Woman Pulls Gun On McDonald’s Employees, Demanding A Free Cookie
There may be a lot of reasons to pull a gun on someone at McDonald’s (none good), but Amari Hendricks did so because she wanted a free cookie. Altamonte Springs officers were called to the McDonald’s on South State Route 434 for a report of a woman brandishing a gun.
According to WESH, “One worker told police that the ordeal began when Hendricks was in the drive-thru and upset. She reportedly believed she was entitled to a free cookie due to not being asked about the rewards program. Hendricks was given the free cookie, but continue to argue, workers said.”
I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know McDonald’s had a rewards program. Anyways…
While continuing to argue at the drive thru, 24-year-old Amari Hendricks got out a handgun, loaded it, and racked it. That’s when she decided to come inside and have words. The employees tried to lock the doors but it was too late. Amari was inside. She attacked a man inside the restaurant, not with her gun, but by scratching him across his face and neck.
When police arrived she was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and resisting arrest.
All for a free cookie. This whole incident reminds me of the Dave Chappelle skit “When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong”
Nexlizet, Guns n' Roses, Cirkul, Power Slap and More Of The Unusual Sponsors of This Year's Daytona 500
While watching the qualifying runs for the Daytona 500 this week I often wondered – what’s that? On more than one occasion I found myself wondering about the sponsor on a car. There’s a lot of cars racing NASCAR with some sponsors that quite frankly, I’ve never heard of. So let’s take a deep dive and educate ourselves about the sponsors of some of the cars. And then when you watch the Daytona 500 on Sunday you’ll look brilliant in front of friends and family. When you see a purple #99 car you can say “Oh yeah, that’s a bar in Nashville”. Everyone will think you’re a genius. And when you see the #8 3CHI.com car you’ll know if you enter that website into your phone the first thing that happens is a pop up that says “you must be 21 to enter this site”. Since I’m at work and I don’t care if I download questionable material on my work computer, I did the busy work for you.
And if you’re watching the race this weekend and don’t have a driver to root for – go with Ross Chastain. He’s from Alva, Florida and last year he pulled a racing move so dangerous they had to create a new rule to stop him from doing it again. Even if you didn’t like the move, you gotta admit, it was pretty bad ass.
So let’s take a lot at some of the obvious, and not so obvious sponsors of this year’s Daytona 500 cars. In order.
