FUENTE:

Weekend Vibes, What's Happening In Southwest Florida Nov 11-13

Here are your Weekend Vibes, What’s Happening In Southwest Florida Nov 11-13.

iami Symphony Orchestra

There are quite a few events for Hurricane Ian recovery and relief this weekend and many of them surround live music. Barbara B Mann Performing Arts Hall in Fort Myers is hosting a concert featuring the Gulf Coast Symphony. Proceeds benefit the SWFL Emergency Relief Fund. If you plan on attending think about grabbing  a non-perishable food item for hurricane survivors. In addition, you can help our furry friends. If you attend this concert, you can also bring some pet food to donate.

More of what is happening in Southwest Florida

Numerous events have been canceled or postponed in wake of Hurricane Ian. Find out which ones by clicking here. The Naples Fine Art Shows one of those annual event that has had to make a few changes and location is one of them. This weekends art show’s location has been moved from the Italian-American Club of Naples. This year it is at Collier County’s 180-acre multipurpose Paradise Coast Sports Complex. Parking is free and there is plenty of space so if you want to bring kids and dogs, go for it.

And did someone say Santa Clause? The big guy makes an appearance in Punta Gorda this weekend.

One more thing, please remember that events on your calendar and even those listed here can always change. We are living in a very fluid world right now. It never hurts to call ahead or even check the social media sites related to these events so you can confirm.

Finally, if you have the means, the energy, and the desire to do so, please support the local businesses that are up and running. And perhaps some of these events will help you if you are looking for a place to give back. Finally, if you have any additional events to share, email them to me here, gina@sunny1063.com.
