You Can Be Fined $500 For Not Wearing A Mask In Miami

Better bring your mask if you’re heading to Miami this weekend. The City of Miami passed an emergency order Thursday that will allow them to impose civil fines of $500 on those who refuse to wear masks in public.
Commissioner Ken Russell stated “I’m very much in favor of this even though it will be controversial and we may get pushback on this, but we must protect our residents.”
As you’re well aware, some people think this is a great idea while others claim it infringes upon their freedom. Commissioners also brought up ideas on how to pass out masks for free to communities that need it most.
