In addition, this weekend kicks off the season of art fairs and festivals across Southwest Florida. The weather is getting cooler and it’s expected to be sunny. However, the rest of the country is getting punished by winter weather. The artists, just like the snow birds, flock south, setting up tents full of their creative works. Also happening this weekend in Southwest Florida
The boat show is back in downtown Fort Myers. It was originally scheduled for November but was one of the many events rescheduled due to Hurricane Ian. Some 130 vendors will be there along the streets and also set up in The Caloosa Sound Convention Center. If your boat was lost or damaged in the hurricane, you might be able to get some help here
We understand that just because it is a new year does not mean some of the old challenges disappear. Many businesses in Southwest Florida are still closed and many people still without a place to live due to Hurricane Ian. However, more and more are opening.
