Wow, here we go. It’s Lent, so here is The Best Seafood Spots in Southwest Florida. This is gonna be amazing because there’s so many seafood restaurants here. And I know I’m gonna get yelled at for missing some. Tell me what I’ve missed and I’ll update this post. But, I’ll do my best. I’m doing this list because I’m Catholic, and it’s lent. So…… trying to help. There’s definitely some overlap with “The Best Southwest Florida Restaurants With Waterfront Views

I’ve lived in Naples and Estero for the past 20 years and I’ve been to a lot of places, but as I make this list I’m realizing there’s still so many more that I haven’t tried. And there’s also many more places that have closed –  like crushing stone crab claws at Randy’s Fish Market, or taking my parents to Rodes.  But there’s also new places to try. There’s always new places to try.

So if you’re new to town, or maybe visiting, and you’re not sure where to go for some great local seafood, that’s what this list is for. It always annoys me when I see long lines of people lined up at the chain restaurants. Like, you could’ve eaten that in Ohio. No, you come to Southwest Florida to eat at a local spot, then you go down Bonita Beach Road and get your picture taken in front of the “Master Bait and Tackle”.

Rocco Smith put in a lot of work on this one. For a more detailed write up on HIS faves, that’s here.

I’m not going to rank these since they’re all amazing. Maybe you choose based on what part of town you want to dine in. So now that my mouth is watering for some great Florida eats, let’s take a look at “The Best Seafood Spots for Lent in Southwest Florida”
