9 College Players From Florida Are Headed To Super Bowl LVII
Super Bowl LVII is this Sunday, February 12th. The Philadelphia Eagles will face the Kansas City Chiefs at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
We’ve watched some of these players work their way up from their college days right here in the Sunshine State. Florida is known for producing major athletic talent, especially when it comes to football players and on the field this Super Bowl Sunday, we will see 9 former Florida college football players vying for the title.
So, where did these guys play college ball? University of Florida (4), Florida State University (3), University of Miami (1) and University of South Florida (1) all have former players in the hunt for the Lombardi trophy.
But leading the pack this year is The University of Oklahoma with 6. Following close behind are Michigan nand Mississippi each with 4 and Alabama, Auburn and Cincinatti with 3 a piece. And no surprise here, the SEC leads with 21, Big 10 with 16, ACC and Big 12 both with 11 and the AAC with 10.
Needless to say, there is going to be tons of talent on that field this weekend in Arizona!
