Internet In Shock Over $12 Miami Airport Pizza
If you’re looking to grab a slice while waiting for your flight at the Miami, Florida Airport, this may be a pizza place to avoid. An airport pizza can always be a bit of a shot in the dark, but now we know of one spot you may want to steer clear of.
Reddit user TheIndustrialMachine posted a picture to the group r/pizza of what he hoped could be a quick delicious meal before catching a flight from Miami to Philly. What he got instead was something that looked like it was made by children messing around in the kitchen. The crime they called a “pizza” came from Maestro Pizza, located in the airport’s central terminal G. The poster mentioned “The pizza tasted how it looked. Horrible!”
What Happened To Airport Pizza?
I had to make sure this was not just a one-off mistake by a new employee, so I checked the Google reviews. A Whopping 1.4 stars on Google, with many people posting similar pictures to the airport pizza that was posted on Reddit. One reviewer noted “I made the mistake of paying before I saw the pizza as they hide it cardboard boxes. The quality is comparable to school lunch at best.”
Scrolling through the rest of the reviews, there’s a lot of people with the same thoughts, also noting that there isn’t many dining options in that part of the Miami airport. Probably shoulda took the walk to the the empanada place in terminal F. On a positive note, however, a few people mentioned that they really liked the wings.
It Could Have Been Worse
Did you see the story over the weekend about an ex-NFL player allegedly peeing on another passenger? Sure, you may have had some terrible pizza, but at least you won’t have to live through that memory. Since we’re speaking on airport pizza at MIA, anyone know why the Sbarro is closed at Terminal F? Sbarro isn’t fantastic, but you always know what you’re going to get. And when you’re traveling, that’s kind of a big deal.
