Sunshine State Salute: Florida Man Gives Traffic Stop Deputies the Finger
In the Sunshine State, giving the police the middle finger is like inviting a hurricane to a picnic. It’s not going to end well, and you’ll probably regret it. Just ask Nicholas Kaseta, this daring young man decided that the best way to face the music after being pulled over was by riding his car like it’s a unicycle.
It all went down in Brevard County, Florida, where even the traffic stops have a hint of Florida Man magic. According to Fox 35, the 25-year-old Nicholas Kaseta, was zooming down SR 528 East like he was auditioning for a role in Fast and Furious… Only with one freaking wheel. The police decided to put an end to this one-rim rodeo, but oh no, Nicholas had other plans.
As the deputies approached, expecting the usual “license and registration,” Nicholas had a different idea. He channeled his inner Shakespeare and treated the officers to a double dose of the middle finger. Yup, both hands!

And if that wasn’t enough, when he finally got out of his car, he graced the deputies with yet another one-fingered salute. I guess he thought, why use words when you can just use your hands to express the eloquent sentiment of “I’m not pleased with this situation, officers.”
As if the bird-flipping wasn’t impressive enough, the deputies also caught a whiff of something special. Ya know, that unmistakable scent of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from Nicholas like an incriminating, perfume.
And when it came time for the field sobriety exercises, oh boy, did Nicholas give it his all. Except his all seemed to be more of a spirited interpretation of the Chicken Dance. It wasn’t anything remotely close to a successful sobriety test.
So, in the end, our fearless rim-rider was apprehended for reckless driving and resisting arrest. Who knew that a routine traffic stop could be so entertaining?
