Health professionals are saying it, the CDC is saying it, and governors across the globe are enforcing it. If that isn't enough to get you to listen, maybe this video by Danny DeVito will.
The actor recorded a PSA about staying home, and it was posted online by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
"Hi everybody, it's Danny DeVito, and I'm asking you from the bottom of my heart, all over the state of New York, stay home," DeVito said in his PSA. "I mean everybody. I mean, we got this virus, this pandemic, and, you know, young people can get it, and they can transmit it to old people and the next thing you know.. (noises)...I'm out of there!"
He also added, "So Governor Cuomo asked me to ask you, please, do us a favor, all of us, and stay home, not spread this virus around. Thank you. Watch a little TV, why don't ya!"
Of course, the internet loves Danny's video, and they are trying to protect him at all costs.
Andrew Cuomo also got other stars like Robert Di Nero, Lala, and Ben Stiller to urge people to stay home too. See their videos below.
