Parents are always looking for activities for Christmas Day, particularly if they have really young children.
With a little investigation, I discovered there are tons of Christmas themed games we can do on the big day. Here are 9 game ideas for the holiday.
Play Christmas trivia with family researching questions and facts and offer a prize for the family member who gets the most points. Some great trivia questions I found were Where country did the Christas tree come from? Answer: Germany. Also, what is the most popular Christmas song ever? You might think it's Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas," but it's not. Answer; Bing Crosby's "White Christmas."
A Christmas Scavenger hunt can be fun if you have young children.
Personalize the game of Guess Who and give it a holiday twist by making cards that relate to various family members or using Polaroid photos as cards for an easy, vintage twist.
Turn "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" into a game by holding a holiday dance-off. Play dance freeze. Turn on the music and get groovin', then shut it off without warning and shout, "freeze!" Whoever stops moving last is out.
Save a stack of uniform-sized containers, like tissue boxes or shipping packages, then paint them like a snowman and add a paper hat and nose, painted features and some other accessories. Grab a ball and you're ready to bowl!
