Live PD was cancelled on June 10th, shortly after reports about a Black man dying in police custody while a “Live PD” crew was there. The cancellation of Live PD was met with outrage as A&E reportedly lost half of it’s viewers after the decision was made. Actually, “at the time of cancellation, Live PD was the most watched show on A&E and the most watched show on cable during prime time on Friday.”
There’s no time frame on when or if Dan Abrams will be able to bring back Live PD, or what network it could be on. Dan Abrams just wants everyone to know he has not given up on the show.
