One of the most popular New Year's resolutions every January involves diet. More and more people are adapting plant based diets, vegetarian and vegan. From Naples to Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville and Destin, here are 7 Florida vegan restaurants making veggies sexy. Desserts too..

If you think giving up meat means eating boring salads for the rest of your life, think again. Chefs around the world are jumping on the meat free bandwagon, coming up with dishes that look like artwork. But the picture expands way beyond meat for vegans. This kind of diet is sans any animal products.

That includes butter, eggs and cheese. To me, this sounds nearly impossible to do, especially when cooking. However, as you see in these videos I've put together for TikTok Tuesday, some chefs make it look like child's play while tasting award winning.

Vegans often find it hard to dine out. Not all restaurants offer options that are just as good as dishes on the regular menu. Others, however, go out of their way to make food so good that even non-vegans will want to order again and again.

The videos below might even make you want to take a road trip for vegan food. These restaurants and dishes look divine.

There are not a lot of purely vegan restaurants in Southwest Florida. There are some that serve vegan cuisine and delectable desserts. Check out this one in Naples.

I know. Cuban vegan sounds like an impossibility but just look at how beautiful this food is. This restaurant is in Miami.

Remember this is not gluten free dining, it's vegan. The pepperoni on this pizza looks real and she insists it tastes good too. This restaurant is in Jacksonville.

This Miami spot looks colorful and and a bit whimsical too. The dumplings look just like any other but there is no meat inside.

A theme park is not the place you would expect vegan and there is a disclaimer to this one. It's not a vegan restaurant. However, it's a spot that has some good and different vegan food. A spot good for everyone and with a side dish of entertainment too. 

When in the Florida Panhandle you might be thinking southern food and seafood. But look at how gorgeous this food is. Yep, it's all vegan.
