ST. PATRICK’S DAY 2020
5 Can’t-Miss St. Patrick’s Day Events in SWFL
Calling anyone who wants to have a “shamrockin’ good time” in SWFL for St. Patrick’s Day! If you are looking for some shenanigans to celebrate one of the best holidays of the year, here is a list of the most talked-about events you won’t want to miss. St. Patrick’s Day Block Party This party will be happening at Hotel Indigo at 1520 Broadway Suite 104, Fort Myers in the Downtown River District. There will be live music and food, two of the best things. Mark your calendars for Sunday, Mar. 15th from 12-10 p.m. If you would like more information on this event, click here. Lucky St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl Bar crawl? My two favorite words. You might even be able to blame the Leprechauns for your behavior on this one. This event is happening on Mar. 14th from 4-12 p.m. at the City Tavern at 2206 Bay Street in Fort Myers. You must purchase tickets online to attend. There will also be a $500 prize for the best costume of the night. May the luck be with you! Click here to buy tickets and for more information about the bar stops on the crawl. St. Patrick’s Day Parade One of the most popular events in SWFL is the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Naples, FL. This parade has activities for the whole family. The parade is held at 5th Avenue S. and will be happening on Mar. 14th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Make sure you wear something green, so you don’t get pinched! For more information regarding the parade, click here. Irish Food Festival For all things St. Patrick’s Day, you’ll need to attend the Irish Food Fest at Millennium Brewing Company at 1811 Royal Palm Avenue in Fort Myers on Mar. 13 from 5-10p.m. There will be multiple food options, Irish beer selection, and live music. Click here for more information. Baby Leprechaun Races St. Patrick’s day even has events for babies. The “Baby Leprechaun Races” are fun for literally the whole family. Bring your infants and watch them compete for the grand prize in Miromar Outlets (10801 Corkscrew Road, Estero, FL) on Mar. 15th at 11 a.m. You should attend this if your baby is the “cutest clover in the patch.” For more information, click here. Keep calm and stay lucky, my friends! All of these events are going to be a great time, so don’t stress when it comes to picking. The good news is that they are spread throughout the weekend making it convenient to attend more than one. *This article was written by Sarah Rice.
