Tanya Aboseada of Florida is now doing time for scamming her grandmother out of over $300,000. Yeah, taking advantage of her own blood!  This woman came up with a whole series of lies to milk her grandmother of her savings, and now she's facing three years in prison for it.

According to FOX8, Between November 2021 and August 2022, Tanya kept hitting her grandmother with wild stories to get her to wire cash a total of twelve different times! She even told the poor lady she needed money to transfer a truck title, deal with IRS debts, pay for attorneys, and even claimed she killed a kid in a car accident and needed hush money to stay out of jail! She really put on the performance of a lifetime, convincing her grandmother to cough up over $300K in total.

Grandmother Scam:

It’s bad enough when strangers scam the elderly, but to do this to your own family? That's low, man. The U.S. Attorney’s Office and the FBI weren’t having it either. They had to make sure that Tanya wasn’t walking away from this foul mess without serious repercussions. On top of three years behind bars, she has to pay back the full $317,049 and will be on supervised release for three years after her sentence. I guessing she won't be staying with grandma.

The authorities made a point to highlight how cold this scam was. People get warned all the time not to fall for tricks from strangers, but when it’s your own grandchild, who’s supposed to look out for you? That’s straight up betrayal dude. Tanya took advantage of her grandmother, her love and her trust. Now she’s paying the price for it... With prison.
