Busch Gardens Hosts One-Day Scary And Merry Event
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is known for their unique and exciting festivals and tomorrow they’ll host a one-day scary and merry event.
You’ve heard of Christmas in July, but before we get to the merry time of year, we hit the scary time of year. Halloween is just around the corner. It’s hard to believe we’re only about 3 months away, though I’ve started seeing candy and decorations out in stores already. Well, retail stores aren’t the only ones getting excited. Busch Gardens is ready to get the celebration started early too.
Busch Gardens Hosts One-Day Scary And Merry Event
Tomorrow, July 25, Busch Gardens will be hosting a one-day event that combines the scary of Halloween with the merry of Christmas. According to a press release, park guests will get to experience a lights-on tour of the Stranglewood Estate haunted house or a meet and greet with the jolly man himself, Santa, in the Serengeti Overlook. Scary and Merry will take place tomorrow from 12-4pm.
If there’s a park that knows how to do Halloween, it’s Busch Gardens. In fact, this year, they’ll celebrate 25 years of one of the biggest Halloween theme park events in the country, Howl-O-Scream. This year will feature 5 new scare zones, a new haunted house called Shadows of Wonderland and a reimagination of Witch of the Woods- Rise of The Coven. If you’re planning on Howl-O-Scream, now is the time to buy tickets during the Sinister Sale, which offers 70% off single-night tickets.
Other exciting things going on at Busch Gardens right now include the opening of the brand new rollercoaster Phoenix Rising. Summer Nights fireworks continue every Friday and Saturday night. And Bourbon & BBQ runs through September 2nd featuring a great BBQ menu along with smooth spirits.
