Naked Florida Man Arrested After Gruesome Machete Attack

A naked Florida man went on an insane attack in Miami Gardens early Monday morning, leaving people nearby shook. Police rolled up to the scene around 4 a.m. during a routine patrol. According to WPLG, they spotted two lonely sandals in the street and a dude pacing on the sidewalk and they thought to themselves that something wasn't right.

Turns out, they were on to something. A witness saw Tyrone Arthur Rhyant, 54, from Opa-locka, sprinting completely butt-naked down Northwest 37th Avenue. Another driver backed up the story, confirming the sighting of the naked Florida man on the run.

Police soon got a call about a horrific scene where a guy was bleeding out on the street. They found the poor dude with not only his head bashed in, but his hand was completely chopped off! Then, nearby, they discovered a blood-soaked machete, the maniac's weapon of choice.

Paramedics from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue showed up, patched up the victim, and rushed him to the Hospital. Meanwhile, the police found a guy snoozing on a nearby couch who fit the victim's description of the attacker.

The suspect, Rhyant, didn’t play coy. He straight up asked the officer, “Is he dead? I tried to kill him.” They brought a witness to ID him, and sure enough, they pegged Rhyant as the naked Florida man who aledgedly tried to kill a guy with a machete.

Now, Rhyant’s wife, living nearby, has a restraining order against him, and it's been active since December 24, 2023. And this order doesn't expire. So this dude wasn’t even supposed to be anywhere near her.

Now, what set him off? Who knows? The motive's still a mystery. But as of Tuesday, Rhyant's locked up without bond. It's a crazy story, and thankfully the police were on it, or who knows how much worse it could’ve been.

Atlanta gets a score of 71.91 with safety and a great weather forecast contributing to their 3rd place ranking.

Austin has a score of 75.72 with the weather ranking high..like the other cities, I imagine it has to be mild, if not warm, to garden comfortably in the buff.

Miami takes the top spot with a score of 78.94. Year-round warmth and safety put this Florida city on top. Just don't forget the sunscreen!
