Fast and Fearless: Florida Woman Leads Florida Police on 145 mph Chase
Man, let me tell you… I see way too many people driving like they’re in a Vin Desil movie in Florida nowadays. I was almost ran off the road in Cape Coral recently by someone driving what looks like a real life Hot wheels car. Crazy drivers everywhere, just like this 21-year-old girl, Cecilia Elise Hoffman. She gave Florida police the Fast and Furious treatment too.
According to FOX35, she was tearing down I-75 like a bat outta hell, hitting 145 mph! I didn’t even know cars could do that in real life! It’s like she’s got a need for speed and no cares in the world. Or some kind of death wish.
Cecilia decides to take a detour at SR 82, trying to play hide and seek with the cops. Speeds are still pushing 120 mph near Colonial Boulevard. Then, out of the blue, Cops pull this crazy move called a PIT maneuver. The cops makes her car do the twist, and the back bumper goes flying.

Cars come to a face-off, but this chick, Cecilia, ain’t ready to call it quits. She pops the door open and decides to go Forrest Gump on ’em, running like her life depends on it. Meanwhile, her buddy in the passenger seat throws in the towel… Hands up in the air, surrendering like he’s at a church concert.
In the end, they slap her with whole lot of charges. Everything but the kitchen sink. Now she’s off to the Lee County Jail, and this whole thing’s got me thinking… Life’s already a crazy ride. You don’t need to turn it into a high-speed chase to feel alive. Plus there’s other people on the road that kinda wanna stay that way…Ya know? Alive! So slow it down!
