Everyone loves Dolly Parton and soon the “Backwoods Barbie” will open a restaurant in Florida.
Even if you’re not a huge fan of country music, there’s something about Dolly Parton that everyone seems to love. She just seems like the sweetest soul. Someone that if you knocked on her door, she’d let you right in and offer you a glass of sweet tea. Now, I don’t actually recommend you do that. I can almost 100% guarantee that wouldn’t work out well for you. However, she seems so incredibly genuine with a down-to-earth charm about her. She already has so much going on with not only her music career, but her dinner theaters, Dollywood Theme Park and more. And now she’s expanding to The Sunshine State.
Dolly Parton To Open Restaurant In Florida
Dolly Parton will be opening a restaurant in Panama City Beach at Pier Park. Much like her dinner theaters in Pigeon Forge, TN and Myrtle Beach, SC this one will be similar. According to News6, it’ll be a “Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show”. Get ready for pirates, mermaids, fire, acrobatics and of course, some of Dolly’s own music as the soundtrack.
The restaurant is set to open sometime in 2025. Wonder if their hours will be “9 to 5”?
10 Restaurants In SWFL Open On Christmas Eve And Day 2023
It’s hard to believe
Christmas is this weekend already and if you’re wondering if there are any restaurants open on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day in SWFL, the answer is
YES!
It’s that time of year when we gather with family and friends to celebrate the holidays. There’s a lot going on this time of year between Christmas parties at work, with friends and the overall hustle and bustle. The idea of cooking on Christmas might not be something you’re looking forward to. I absolutely love the holidays. But hosting at my home in Fort Myers is just a little too overwhelming. The amount of food I would need to cook is a bit outside of my skill level. Sure, I could order in and have it catered, but that’s a lot of planning too.
This year Christmas Eve arrives on Sunday and Christmas Day on Monday. You may be excited to see family and friends, sharing a meal and gifting, but what do you do if you don’t want to cook? The good thing, is that there are plenty of places this year where you can enjoy a delicious holiday meal with no prep and no dishes to worry about afterwards.
While Sunday and Monday are days that some restaurants are normally closed, some will open for Christmas. You’ll definitely want to call and double check hours and availability, just in case reservations are required.
Thanks to News-Press, here are 10 local restaurants to SWFL, particularly Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Bonita Springs that are open on Christmas Eve and/or Day this year. You can see their full list here. Many restaurant chains and fast food spots will be open as well. Merry Christmas!
