CDC Afirma Que Con Máscaras Mejoraremos En 8 Semanas

EL Dr. Robert Redfield director del Centers for Disease Control and Prevention dijo que si todos en el país usaran máscaras al estar en lugares públicos se controlarían todos los contagios del virus en 8 semanas.

Este comentario lo hizo después de que más estados, ciudades y negocios impongan el uso obligatorio de máscaras para contener el aumento masivo de contagios reportados en los últimos días. Redfield añadió también que con la combinación del coronavirus y el flu para este próximo otoño e invierno probablemente sea uno de los momentos más difíciles experimentados en la salud pública en los Estado Unidos. Hasta ahora se han reportado alrededor de 3.4 millones de casos confirmados de coronavirus en los Estados Unidos y mas de 136,000 muertes de acuerdo al Johns Hopkins University. Desde el 1 de julio se han reportado mas de 50,000 casos por día incluyendo el record de 66,000 que se reportó el pasado viernes siendo los estados con más contagios California, Florida, Arizona, y Texas.

Take the kids to have some fun at Sun Splash Family Waterpark in Cape Coral. The waterpark has reopened at 50% capacity with a new 5-day weekly schedule and will be closed Monday and Wednesdays. Check out their new safety guidelines here. 

Sanibel Island is the perfect place to enjoy beaches, fishing, shelling, nature tours, bird watching, and dining. Rent a bike and enjoy 15 miles of unspoiled beaches, 25 miles of bike paths, and 0 stoplights. You can stop by the Sanibel-Captiva Chamber of Commerce for local tourist information. Take an adventure through Koreshan Park where the boat ramp and canoe/kayak launch is available. Visitors are expected to maintain distances of at least six feet apart and limit group size to 50 or fewer people. For more information on pricing, click here.
