La pareja escucho ruidos antes de acostarse y creyeron que se trataba de algún maleante, así que Nathan puso su arma en la mesita de noche y se fue a dormir.
Unos 45 minutos más tarde, Allison se levantó para usar el baño y su esposo le disparó dos veces en la cadera pensando que ella era una ladrona.
Allison sobrevivió con lesiones que no amenazan la vida. Este caso aún sigue en investigación.
