387053 03: Students at Granite Hills High School in San Diego, CA comfort each other March 22, 2001 following another shooting rampage. Jason Hoffman, an 18-year-old student at Granite Hills High School, in a sniper position opened fire on students and teachers before being stopped in his tracks. Many were injured but no one was killed in the shootout. The shooting comes less than three weeks after two students were killed and 13 injured in a gun rampage at another nearby high school.
